Athletics zones 2019

On the 26th of November some people from Waikowhai Primary School went to Athletics zones. Some people left early to help set up but some people were there but we still had to help when most of our school came ( the littlest school there) we all had to help when we were setting up all we had to do was wait for all the other schools then some schools started to come and more and more. Then when we were all there we started of by our junior girls went up first, the first event and all of us went to our event's came relays I think we did pretty well and the day was fun. blog you later

High jump

Hi bloggers, the past couple days we have been doing high jump. We have been doing high jump because we have Athletics coming up we would only have high jump at lunch times because the middle schools want to do it too, it has been quite a exciting week since they put out the high jump some games we play are knock out so if they knock it over  they are out but they only get four tries yesterday I jump 1.14m and I had one more go and I made, one of the teachers were proud of me because she asked me in class time, " how has high jump been and I said its been good and the reason why I like high jump is because it's challenging for me and I know and you can do scissor kick and back flop

On the 31st October we went to a school called Oratia district, when we got there we had to find our seats and wait for the other schools. When all of the schools came we sat down and they told us first to go on the website to go and book your tickets then we were waiting for Mr Lambert to come then we started to sing. The first song we sang was choo choo cha boggie when we finished they were telling us what we should work on and what we did well then we at least did three songs then we went out to play. When we came back inside we had to sit down for to hours and sing sit down sing and repeat, then when they said we were going to sing our last song was because we had to pack and leave so luckily we did it in time then we went back to school had a little play and packed up for the end of the day.
