Cross country zones

on the 26th of September people who made it into the top 5 in the School run the you go to zones. So today we went there the place it was running at was Monte Cecelia we had to run had and fast races so like if the year 4's run then they will call up the year 5 girls but last year because it wasn't raining so they scheduled it on the right time. The year 4 girls ran first they got set some rules like make sure you stay inside the cones, and the other one was make sure you are careful when you run down the hill, when they ran waikowhai was cheering for them when we couldn't see them, it was like an a surprise but the only thing we could see when they were coming was there shadow's but we didn't know if it was waikowhai or not, so we were a little bit excited when we saw the first runner she was from TKS and then the second runner was from another school but I didn't know the name of that school. When we saw our runners and her name was nerus and she was coming 12th and the other runners 13th and 14th it was only the first lap so they might came a different place. when they finished there race.Then the year 4 boys ran and all of them were fast so they might actually come ,1st, 2nd, and 3rd but no they didn't I thought that one of them was going to come first but he didn't win because he sprinted the start then he got tired and he came 12th but the fastest year 4 boy came 3rd and his dad was proud of him. when it came to the year 5 girls they got set the same set of rules as everybody else when they started running when they had done the same then the rest of everyone else went then we had a lot of fun, then we went back to school. blog you later

Beach clean up

THE BEACH CLEAN UP

last term the senior syndicate went down to waikowhai bay to do a beach clean up. When we organised the groups we went down and got working, our main job was to pick the small bit's of rubbish we looked up hills in the drains small places, me and my friend vili climbed up this big hill and we found heaps of rubbish beer cans+ bottles, caps, plastic, and heaps more, when we left that area we went to the other side of the bay, and we spotted heaps more from the other side. and when we walked a bit further there was a number plate and a tires and I found this cool as rock it was a cube shaped one when we were going back to the start were we all were we handed in our glove's then the bags that was filled up with u with rubbish but the worst thing bout it was we had to walk up all the big hills. When we were leaving we were talking about how cool it was doing the beach clean up, as soon as we got back we got to play for a little bit then the teachers said we had to go inside then we got to have ice blocks but the teachers got to have ice creams when we finished our ice blocks and ice creams we tided up for the end of the day then it was the holidays.

on the 19th of November Wakoiwhai primary school had our Athletics day first what we had to do was odder our sausages, when we did that we had to do the roll, then after that we went outside to listen for what we were going to do. first we headed of to 400m run, we got numbed up 1-6 and we had to line the teacher said we couldn't cheer for one person we ha to cheer for all of them. when she said set, go we all ran then they couldn't see us until we went around I was in 1st place then a boy was right behind me then I sprinted my hardest then we did it again when we all finished. When we had finished the next lot went, we were cheering our hardest when we finished that event then when we did all the other events the relays came first went the middle school they ran there hardest and we came second, and the girls for  them came second too. Then the junior boys ran they did well they ran second for Ruru (house group) and the girls did to, then had to run the girls ran first they came fist for ruru i thought they did really well then the boys came our first runner did well but I was the last runner and I was behind the runner who was in first and I nearly won it for ruru and that would of been the best day ever.
